Gain Access to PCard Verification Module
You must satisfy two requirements prior to getting access to the PCard Module:
- Take and pass an online test
- Attend instructor-led training (as offered), or
- Take the web-based training class.
- Receive self-service privilege "SU PCard" in Authority Manager
The online test is a required element of the FIN-0450: PCard Policy and Procedure class. Prior to taking the online test, we recommend that you:
Note: You must register for FIN-0450: PCard Policy and Procedure instructor-led or web-based training in STARS (Stanford Training and Registration System) in order to take the online test element o the class. When you complete and submit the online test, results will be immediately posted to STARS.
Check with your manager to find out who in your work area can grant you the "SU PCard" self-service privilege using the Authority Manager application.
STARS must post the completion of the online test to Authority Manager before the privilege will become effective. STARS interfaces with Authority Manager four times a day. Authority Manager must post the privilege to Oracle Financials after it becomes effective. Authority Manager interfaces with Oracle Financials three times an hour. Wait at least four hours after passing the online test in STARS or receiving the privilege in Authority Manager, whichever occurs last, for the responsibility to be effective in Oracle Financials.
